George Luks

The style and subject of works by George Luks are the epitome of the Ashcan School.  Portraiture of downtrodden urban subjects was one of the artist’s favored themes, as well as city scenes, and landscapes.  This landmark exhibition featured masterpieces by Luks that had not seen by the public for decades.
